Betsy DeVos is a nationally recognized leader in education, philanthropy, and public service, known for her steadfast commitment to expanding opportunity and advancing principled leadership. She served as the 11th U.S. Secretary of Education, championing policies focused on innovation, parental choice, and increased access to high-quality education. Throughout her career, Mrs. DeVos has been a leading advocate for educational freedom, firmly believing that every student is uniquely created by God and deserving of the opportunity to develop their God-given gifts and talents.
Guided by her Christian faith, Mrs. DeVos has devoted decades to philanthropic and civic efforts that strengthen families, support faith-based initiatives, and encourage entrepreneurship and personal responsibility. She is a passionate advocate for Christ-centered higher education, believing that institutions grounded in a biblical worldview equip students not only with knowledge and skills but also with wisdom, character, and a deep sense of calling to serve God and neighbor. Through her leadership and public voice, she affirms the transformative power of integrating faith and learning, inspiring graduates to pursue excellence and impact their communities for Christ.
