CCU Capital Campaigns

Great buildings don't make great universities, but a great university requires great buildings.

For more than a century, Colorado Christian University and its heritage institutions have provided Christ-centered higher education from the foot of the Rocky Mountains. In an ever-changing world, CCU leadership has been intentional in the development of the University's main campus located in Lakewood, Colo. — striving to be good stewards while providing a world-class education.

Since 2012, the 34-acre campus has transformed with the construction of a dedicated academic building, two residence halls, and a student center. The Armstrong Center continues the transformation of CCU's Lakewood campus into a world-class training ground for future business, church, and world leaders. Dedicated on October 4, 2024, the 60,000-square-foot addition brings the School of Music back to the main campus, adds a 500-seat theater, expanded library, vital classrooms, and CCU’s first dedicated chapel. It’s a powerful symbol of CCU’s commitment to excellence and the growing impact of the School of Music.

CCU has been blessed by the transformation so far, but with more work ahead, the greatest areas of need now are two-fold:

• Dedicated Science & Engineering Center — Technical and teaching facilities to train up the next generation of Christian leaders in the fields of science, engineering, math, and healthcare
• Outdoor Sports Complex — A quality athletics venue that will allow student-athletes on our softball, baseball, track and field, cross country, and golf teams to use their gifts and talents to compete at a high level in the Rocky Mountain Athletics Conference and NCAA Division II.
