CCU Mourns Passing of Dr. Kelton Lustig

Colorado Christian University mourns the loss of one of CCU's most beloved faculty members, Dr. Kelton Lustig, who served as Professor of Education in the School of Education for nearly two decades. Dr. Lustig passed away on December 23, 2017.

Dr. Lustig had over 20 years of university teaching experience in both undergraduate and graduate programs. Prior to his tenure at CCU, he taught for 12 years in public schools in Minnesota, Nebraska, and Colorado. He presented at numerous educational conferences and in-services on topics in special education, multiple intelligence, learning styles, and professional development. He held a doctorate in Special Education from the University of Northern Colorado, a master's degree in K-12 Reading Education from the University of Colorado, and a bachelor's degree in History from Bethel University.

CCU will greatly miss his kindness, expertise, and passion for teaching students to be professional educators. A memorial service for Dr. Lustig will be held on Monday, January 8, 2018, at 2:00 p.m. at Mission Hills Church, 620 Southpark Drive, Littleton, CO 80120.
