Biography and Professional Achievements

Diana Gaide is an affiliate professor of piano at CCU. She earned her Bachelor of Music Education and Bachelor of Music in Piano Performance degrees from The University of Tulsa, studying with Aldo Mancinelli. Gaide began piano lessons with her mother in first grade, and accompanied her school and church choirs in junior high. She also started playing organ for church services in high school. While at TU, she won the concerto contest.

She has taught private piano lessons for 30 years. Gaide has continued to accompany church choirs, play organ for services, and piano solos for church at the different places she has lived. She has extensive accompanying experience with opera students, school choirs, community choirs, and instrumentalists. While living in Houston, she was piano and organ soloist with the Houston Lutheran Chorale for seven seasons. In Jakarta, Indonesia, she performed two concerts for charity. While in Denver, she has written several hymn arrangements for piano.

Gaide presently teaches piano, accompanies vocal students, accompanies her church choir, and provides solo piano hymn arrangements.
