Biography and Professional Achievements

Dr. Isidro Aybar, Jr. began his music ministry when he was just a boy. He often traveled with his father, a minister and musician, playing his own guitar in East Coast Spanish Churches and in Puerto Rico. Since those early years and his move to Denver, Colorado from New York City in 1983, his devotion to God and love for music has opened a unique array of opportunities both in the Jazz community, as well as across a variety of traditions and musical styles within the Body of Christ. As a guitarist and music director, Aybar has shared the stage with numerous, respected musicians and recording artists from around the world in music festivals, live concerts of his own, religious conferences, and a plethora of worship services in the United States, Costa Rica and the Dominican Republic.

As the owner of Fervor Music Productions, LLC., Aybar’s musical expertise and leadership are sought out for a wide range of musical services including: commercial music for television and radio, composing and arranging, film scoring, consultation and strategic organization for church music departments, direction of rhythm sections and small orchestras, mentoring of musicians, studio production and live accompaniment. His versatility of genres, namely jazz, Latin, rock, blues, classical and world music has afforded him the privilege of networking with people from many diverse walks of life, a benefit he thoroughly enjoys as his own musicianship continues to evolve.

Aybar is the Head of Guitar Studies at Colorado Christian University.

His non-musical interests include business and finance, technology, racquet sports and super cars. He and his wife, Allison have been married since 1997; they live together in Aurora, Colorado where they are raising their four sons.
