Biography and Professional Achievements

Kelly Lodge is the Assistant Professor and Head of the Department of Criminal Justice at Colorado Christian University. She earned her B.A. in Psychology from the University of Wyoming and her M.A. in Forensic Psychology from the University of North Dakota.

Her academic interests include serial offenders, interrogations, confessions, criminal behavior, and forensic interviewing. Before joining CCU, she worked in various avenues within the fields of criminal justice and psychology, experiences that deeply inform her teaching and mentorship.

Professor Lodge is passionate about integrating faith and learning, helping students approach the field of criminal justice with both knowledge and compassion. She lives in Denver with her husband and their son and enjoys horseback riding, camping, hiking, and reading.

Faith and Learning

Professor Lodge's Christian faith guides every aspect of her teaching and interactions with students. She sees education as a calling to serve others through Christ, striving to create a classroom grounded in compassion, integrity, and respect. She views each student as uniquely created in God’s image and aim to help them grow not only academically but also in character and purpose. Her hope is that students leave her class inspired to serve others and reflect Christ’s love through their work in criminal justice.
