Biography and Professional Achievements
Ken Summers is a Colorado native currently living in Northwest Georgia. He has served as a pastor, State Representative, Fort Collins City Council member, and a nonprofit executive director. He has been an affiliate instructor at CCU since 2019. He holds a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Business Education from the University of Northern Colorado and a Master of Nonprofit Management Degree from Regis University.
During his legislative tenure, he served as the Chair of the House Health and Environment Committee. He received several recognitions during his six years of legislative service, including Legislator of the Year by the Colorado Nonprofit Association. Summers was the impetus behind the annual Colorado Gives Day Rally held annually on the west steps of the Capitol.
