A Nationally Certified Teacher of Music, she is an active member of Music Teachers National Association and has maintained a private studio, Appassionata Piano Studio, since 2001; her students regularly perform and often participate in regional and national festivals, adjudications, competitions, and honors recitals, receiving highest honors.
