Biography and Professional Achievements

Sarah Bontrager, LMFT, is a Colorado native and currently resides in Golden, Colorado, with her husband of 20 years, Jeff, and their four children. They love hiking, skiing, camping, and traveling together.

She is an adjunct psychology professor at Colorado Christian University, registered YogaFaith 200 hr. instructor, and clinical marriage and family psychotherapist at her private practice in Golden, CO. She is also the director of women's ministries at Arvada Covenant Church.

Bontrager is passionate about teaching psychology while engaging authentically with relevant, pressing mental health issues facing families and students.
