Biography and Professional Achievements

Sarah Bontrager, LMFT, is a Colorado native and currently resides in Golden, Colorado, with her husband of 24 years, Jeff, and their four children. They love hiking, skiing, camping, and traveling together. She is an assistant psychology professor at Colorado Christian University, a marriage and family therapist, and a PhD candidate in Performance Psychology. Professor Bontrager is passionate about community mental health education that integrates Christian faith and transformational psychology while engaging authentically with her clients and students.
