Meet Brooke
I attended CCU as a traditional freshman and fell in love with the University and its community! CCU provided me with a strong foundation of faith and life-changing opportunities that continue to shape who I am today.
Now, I’m honored to be part of the beginning of the beautiful journey God has in store for you. As you consider CCU, I look forward to seeing where He leads you!
Hometown: Boulder, Colorado
Education: B.A. in Rhetoric Communication and Ministry (Colorado Christian University)
Favorite verse: “And I heard the voice of the Lord saying, ‘Whom shall I send, and who will go for us?’ Then I said, ‘Here I am!” Send me.” - Isaiah 6:8 (ESV)
Hobbies: I enjoy spending time with people and with Jesus! I’m actively involved in a local church, where I serve as a middle and high school youth leader, co-lead a young adults' Bible study, and participate in outreach ministry. I also mentor current international missionaries through Youth With A Mission (YWAM) and Cru.
In my downtime, you’ll often catch me hammocking, camping, playing the piano or ukulele, swing dancing, or doing a puzzle!
My time at CCU: During my years as a student at CCU, I had the privilege of leading two student organizations: Swing for the King (a swing dancing club) and the Tennis Club. I was also a member of Handbells, a traditional music ensemble.
As a CCU student, I developed a grounded foundation of biblical knowledge and made life-long friendships. After graduating, I served as a youth director at a family camp in the Rocky Mountains before spending two years as a missionary with Youth With a Mission in Oceania.
