At Colorado Christian University, we strive to honor the time and effort you’ve already invested by helping you maximize your transfer credits — while staying true to our conservative values and Christ-centered mission.
Throughout the transfer admission process, you can expect:

- An individual evaluation of transferrable credit
- Options to reduce the time and cost of your degree
At CCU, we are looking for students who have made a personal commitment to follow Christ, who demonstrate strong academic achievement, and who desire to grow within our Christ-centered, on-campus community.
A transfer student is any student who has taken 15 or more college credits after graduating from high school.
Applying for Admission to CCU
CCU Admission Requirements
A minimum 2.75 cumulative GPA from every college or university you have attended is required for admission to CCU. A standardized test score is not required and is not considered for transfer admission.
Students who do not meet these minimum requirements are encouraged to apply, and the University will consider their application under a committee review process.
The Office of Undergraduate Admissions reserves the right to request additional information as deemed necessary to make an admission decision.CCU Admission Application

Your first step is to start a CCU Admission Application. The information in your application will be securely stored. You can keep working on your started application until you are ready to submit it for review.
Application in Progress
If you previously started an application, log in to your CCU Admission Application to access your saved information. Your application is ready to submit for review when you have filled in all the required information.
Former Students and Applicants
If you previously applied for admission to CCU or were enrolled in the past, please contact your transfer enrollment counselor or email the Office of Undergraduate Admissions at ccuadmissions@ccu.edu to begin the readmission process.
Submitting Transcripts
Submit transcripts from each college or university you have attended. The Office of Undergraduate Admissions can use an *unofficial* transcript for admission purposes. However, you will need to submit an *official* transcript when you are ready to enroll in classes at CCU.
Unofficial Transcripts
An unofficial transcript is a photo or PDF copy of your transcript submitted to CCU informally by email or text. You can submit an unofficial transcript for admissions purposes and an initial evaluation of transfer credits. Attach an unofficial transcript in your CCU Admissions Application or email a copy to cusadmissions@ccu.edu.
Official Transcripts
An official transcript is sent directly to CCU from each college or university you have attended. If you are currently enrolled in coursework at another institution, you will need to order a final, official transcript for evaluation of transfer credits upon completion.

Application Deadline — CCU offers rolling admission, which means applications are accepted until enrollment capacity is reached.
Preferred Admission — Students who apply early can qualify for additional perks, including a Preferred Admission scholarship. You must apply for admission, be admitted to CCU, and submit a $200 tuition deposit by the deadline to be eligible for Preferred Admission benefits.
The Office of Admissions will make an admission decision after all application materials have been received. We'll contact you once we have reviewed your application to let you know our decision.
Transferring Credit
The College of Undergraduate Studies offers reduced General Education requirements to transfer students to optimize the time and cost of completing their degree.
Contact your transfer enrollment counselor to request an unofficial evaluation of transfer credits. This evaluation is considered unofficial, pending review by Registration Services once you are admitted to CCU. Each transfer student receives an individual credit evaluation.
Financial Aid and Scholarships
CCU offers many scholarships and financial aid options, including a transfer scholarship based on academic merit.
The majority of students in CCU's College of Undergraduate Studies also qualify to receive some level of financial aid. In order to be considered for financial aid, it is important to submit the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) as soon as possible.
