Rules for the Family Life Radio Scholarship Contest

Enter the contest by submitting the entry form between January 1, 2026 and January 31, 2026, for a chance to win a $10,000 grand prize tuition scholarship or a $5,000 tuition scholarship toward an associate, bachelor's, or master's degree from CCU Online. All other eligible entrants will receive a $1,000 tuition scholarship just for entering. See Eligibility Requirements for details.

The winners will be selected by a random drawing of verified eligible entrants and announced on February 5, 2026. Once notified, the grand prize scholarship winners must accept the scholarship within 14 calendar days. If the winner does not accept the scholarship within 14 calendar days, the scholarship will be awarded to the next entrant in the random drawing.

Key Deadlines for Using Your Scholarship

  1. April 10, 2026: Deadline to apply for admission to CCU Online. Submit your admission application for an associate degree, bachelor's degree, or master's degree offered through CCU Online.
  2. April 21, 2026: Deadline to submit remaining admission materials and meet CCU admission requirements. Your admission status must be fully, provisionally, or conditionally admitted by this date.
  3. April 27, 2026: Deadline to register for classes for your degree program at CCU.
  4. May 1, 2026: Deadline to start classes in your CCU degree program.

Program-Specific Deadline Exceptions:

Exceptions can be made for those pursuing the following degrees if they start by Fall Block 1, 2026:

  • Master of Arts in Curriculum and Instruction (Biblical Studies, TESOL, and Alternative License emphases only)
  • Master of Education in TESOL
  • Master of Education in Special Education (including Alternative License emphasis)
  • Master of Cyber Security

Exceptions can also be made for the following if they start by Spring Block 1, 2027:

  • Master of Business Administration (Economics, Advanced Accounting, Cyber Security, and Enterprise Agility emphases only)
  • Master of Science in Accounting

Scholarship Details

The scholarship is designed to be distributed evenly across multiple courses in the student's degree program at Colorado Christian University and may not exceed the cost of a course. The scholarship may only be used toward courses offered directly by CCU.

  • The recipient of the $10,000 scholarship will receive up to a $1,000 tuition credit toward each of the first 10 courses in the student's degree program.
  • The recipient of the $5,000 scholarship will receive up to a $500 tuition credit toward each of the first 10 courses in the degree program.
  • Each $1,000 scholarship recipient will receive a $250 tuition credit toward each of the first four courses in the degree program.

Tuition credits will be deducted from the student's account balance. All course billing must be paid or have a payment arrangement in place prior to the first day of class. Scholarship funds must be used by Spring Block 3, 2029. Any unused portion will be forfeited after that date.

Students with a lapse in enrollment of more than 365 days will forfeit the scholarship even if part of the scholarship has already been awarded.

Eligibility Requirements

    • Entrants must be at least 18 years old on January 1, 2026.
    • Entrants must have a high school diploma or GED.
    • Only one entry per individual (and per email address) is permitted.
    • Scholarships may only be used toward tuition for degree programs in CCU's College of Adult and Graduate Studies (CAGS).
    • The scholarships are not applicable to:
      • Core classes in the pre-licensure nursing program
      • Certificate programs
      • Stand-alone licensure programs
      • Non-degree seeking student status
      • Non-credit course offerings
      • Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP)
      • Ph.D. in Counselor Education and Supervision
    • This contest is for new students only.
      • Students who registered for and did not drop any CCU CAGS course prior to January 1, 2026, are not eligible.
      • Students who are actively registered on January 1, 2026, are not eligible.
      • Students who started classes before January 1, 2026, are not eligible.
    • Graduate students with a conferred CCU bachelor's degree are not eligible for the $1,000 scholarship.
    • Graduate alumni are eligible for the $10,000 or $5,000 grand prize scholarships if they have not enrolled in any graduate-level CCU coursework after completing their undergraduate degree and prior to January 1, 2026.
    • Students who previously took undergraduate classes at CCU but graduated elsewhere are eligible if they have not taken any graduate coursework at CCU before January 1, 2026.
    • CUS students wishing to transfer their current undergraduate degree to CAGS are not eligible.
    • Students who previously took CCU Academy courses are eligible if they have not enrolled in CAGS courses before January 1, 2026.
    • Students eligible for CCU's reduced military tuition rate are not eligible for this scholarship contest.
    • The Family Life Radio $1,000 scholarship can be combined with partnership (PEP/CHEPP) discounts and the Transfer Scholarship, with conditions.
    • The $10,000 and $5,000 grand prize scholarships cannot be combined with any other discount program except partnership discounts. Discount changes only occur at the beginning of a term.
    • By entering this contest, entrants authorize Colorado Christian University to contact them by phone, text, mail, and email.
    • By accepting a grand prize scholarship, winners grant CCU permission to use their name, image, voice, and statements for marketing purposes. See CCU's Photo-Testimonial Release Form for details.
