Deadlines & Eligibility Requirements for the Jerry Jenkins Writers Guild Tuition Discount Offer
To qualify, you must submit the entry form (and select the “Creative Writing, BA” program) by November 30, 2025.
Key Deadlines for Using Your Discount
- February 2, 2026: Deadline to apply for admission to CCU Online. Submit your admission application for the Bachelor of Arts in Creative Writing degree offered through CCU Online.
- February 11, 2026: Deadline to submit your remaining admission materials and meet CCU admission requirements. Your admission status must be fully, provisionally, or conditionally admitted by this date. Contact your enrollment counselor or call 303-963-3311 if you have any questions about your admission status.
- February 18, 2026: Deadline to register for classes for the Bachelor of Arts in Creative Writing program at CCU. Check our CCU Online Academic Calendar for semester start dates, and check with your enrollment counselor for the next start date for this program.
- February 20, 2026: Deadline to start classes in the Bachelor of Arts in Creative Writing program.
Discount Details
Tuition credits will be deducted from the student's account balance. All course billings must be paid, or have a payment arrangement contract in place, prior to the first day of the class.
Students with a lapse in enrollment of more than 365 days will forfeit the tuition discount.

Eligibility Requirements
- Students must be at least 18 years old.
- Students must have a high school diploma or GED.
- This discount can only be used toward the Bachelor of Arts in Creative Writing offered through the College of Adult and Graduate Studies.
- This discount offer is for new students only.
- Discounts cannot be deferred beyond the deadline to start classes.
- Discounts are not transferable to another person.
- Students who are eligible for CCU's reduced military tuition rate will not be eligible for this discount.
- The $1,000 WayFM scholarship can be combined with CCU's partnership discount.
- This discount can be combined with a $1,000 contest scholarship OR CCU’s Transfer Scholarship. If the student qualifies for both scholarship offers, both can be used, but they will be awarded one at a time.
- By entering this contest, entrants authorize Colorado Christian University to contact them by phone, text messaging, mail, and/or email.
