This powerful book explores the cultural and educational challenges facing today’s youth and offers valuable insights on how our Christ-centered community can respond.
We invite you to participate in a campus-wide reading initiative of Hollowed Out to deepen our campus dialogue and help us engage meaningfully with Jeremy S. Adams during his visit. Let’s come together as a community of learners to reflect on these important issues.

Jeremy S. Adams has dedicated 27 years to teaching government and economics at Bakersfield High School and spent 16 years as a political science lecturer at California State University, Bakersfield. He is widely recognized as one of California’s most accomplished educators, earning numerous prestigious accolades.
