President’s Weekend 2024 welcomed over 120 guests to the Troon in Scottsdale, AZ for a catalyst weekend focused on how God is working through the mission and vision at Colorado Christian University! This faith building launch event offered an inside look at how Christ is moving through faculty, students, and the leadership of CCU. Through a compelling and passionate vision, President Hogue outlined how CCU plans to be a great Christian university and how others might come alongside us to impact the world with grace and truth!

CCU desires to spread God’s message of grace and truth through Christ-centered education — an education that fosters academic excellence, spiritual growth, and cultural leaders. We are on-mission to become the best-performing, most trusted, respected, and recognized evangelical university in the nation. Our focus includes attracting exceptional students, recruiting distinguished faculty, strengthening partnerships, and expanding our facilities.
Our holistic approach to education intertwines academic rigor with spiritual growth, community engagement and personal development. By empowering students for a lifetime of Christ-centered service, they will shine His light as they impact the world with the truth of Jesus.
In order to reach our goal, gifts are needed to bring the Armstrong Center to life with equipment and programming. Naming opportunities exist for performance areas, practice rooms, classrooms, special collections, and lecture and chapel areas.
Any gift will be matched up to $2,000,000 through October 2024 thanks to a generous match from CCU athletic alumni, Scott & Donna Miller, and Interstate Batteries. Fulfilling this match will get us to the halfway point of this $14,000,000 project and allow the next phase of work to begin.
Continued progress is vital to produce a generation of engineers and scientists representing the light of Christ in kinesiology, human life, bioethics, ecology, and applied sciences. Investing in the Science & Engineering Center will prepare leaders for generations to come.
After successfully raising over $27,000 to build a new child development center in partnership with Compassion International in Honduras, CCU is now spearheading an initiative for our students to sponsor the 150 children currently enrolled in the program.
Though we face attacks every day that threaten our Christian values, we will not back down. CCU is committed to our mission to become the most recognized and trusted evangelical university in the country. CCU has set a vision of building toward a $100 million endowment.
Gifts to the general endowment are critical to protect CCU’s margin of excellence and cover needs that fall outside of the University’s annual budget. CCU's goal is $1.7 million and we need your help to secure our future.
Investing in the CCU Endowment provides oil for our lamp, protects against future threats, and ensures students’ continued assistance with scholarship funds. Current endowments range from $25,000 to several hundred thousand dollars, totaling just under $10 million.
