Boundless Opportunity Scholarships Benefit Non-traditional Students

Colorado Christian University announced today that it has received a $52,000 grant from the Daniels Fund to provide Boundless Opportunity Scholarships to non-traditional students. The Boundless Opportunity Scholarship (BOS) is designed to benefit motivated non-traditional students who recognize the power of education to create a better life for themselves and their families.

"This scholarship helps immensely as there are limited opportunities for financial assistance for adult students," said Roger Chandler, vice president of student success for CCU's College Adult and Graduate Studies. "In fact, often, the adult student incurs additional expenses from online courses such as fees, childcare, and even eldercare. Thank you, Daniel's Fund for this most generous gift, it will be a blessing to our non-traditional students in the College of Adult and Graduate Studies."

The need-based scholarships are available to specific student populations, including adults entering or returning to college, GED recipients, veterans entering or returning to college, former foster care youth, and former juvenile justice youth.

"Boundless Opportunity Scholarships benefit non-traditional students who desire to create a better life by investing in their education," said Linda Childers, president, and CEO of the Daniels Fund. "As our founder Bill Daniels once said, 'America remains the greatest nation on Earth, where boundless opportunities still exist for each and every one of us.'"
