Biography and Professional Achievements

Dr. Cammie Gray came to Colorado Christian University in the Fall of 2021 with experience teaching courses at the University of New Hampshire in the calculus sequence (Pre-calculus through Calculus 2) as well as a mathematics course for future elementary school teachers. She received her Ph.D. in Mathematics Education from the University of New Hampshire. She has presented research findings at the Annual Conference on Research in Undergraduate Mathematics Education, the Northeastern Conferences on Research in Undergraduate Mathematics Education, and various Graduate Research Conferences and Seminars at the University of New Hampshire. Her research interests include the learning and teaching of tertiary mathematics and the preparation and professional development of mathematics teachers.

Dr. Gray also has experience teaching mathematics at the secondary level. She spent four years teaching middle and high school mathematics courses on the Central Coast of California prior to her graduate studies. She has been awarded for excellence in teaching at both the University of New Hampshire and California Polytechnic State University, San Luis Obispo, receiving the Department of Mathematics & Statistics Teaching Assistant Award and the Outstanding Mathematics Educator Award, respectively. Dr. Gray loves sharing her passion for teaching and mathematics with her students and discussing how faith is integral to both courses of study.
