Biography and Professional Achievements

Dr. Carol Kurkowski holds a PhD in Business Administration - Organizational Leadership, a Master's of Science Degree in Human Resources Management, and a BA in Communications. Kurkowski is a native of Colorado but followed her Air Force husband all around the country for 20 years. Kurkowski has taught at the college level for over 23 years with six different universities. She teaches full time as an Assistant Professor of Business at Pikes Peak Community College. She has taught as an Affiliate Faculty at Colorado Christian University for over 18 years online and at the Colorado Springs campus.

Her favorite scripture is 1 Corinthians 2:9, "No eye has seen, no ear has heard, no mind has conceived what God has prepared for those who love him." (NIV). Kurkowski has also had the opportunity to hold positions of leadership in her church and Christian Ministry groups in the capacity of Women's Ministry Coordinator for four churches, Simulcast Coordinator for Beth Morre, MOPS Coordinator, Vice President for Alumni Association for Christian Challenge, Mom's In Prayer leader, and Ladies Bible Study Leader.

The best thing about teaching for Colorado Christian University is that Kurkowski is able to tell students about her relationship with Christ and the many blessings that God has poured on her life. Kurkowski has overwhelming gratitude to God for giving her Christian parents that raised her, leading to a personal relationship with Jesus Christ as a small child. She has had the opportunity to proclaim Christ in many different speaking engagements from groups of 50 to 3,500. She has also had the opportunity to speak at two college graduations as the commencement speaker.
