Biography and Professional Achievements

Joren Roth began his teaching career in the San Diego area, which expanded into many years teaching overseas, including work at international schools in the Philippines (Brent International), South Korea (Seoul Foreign School), and Vietnam (Concordia International School).

Upon returning to the states, Roth moved into the realm of information and library science, inspired by his collaborations in researching a variety of subject areas with various librarians. Over the years, he has served in multiple librarian capacities within both public and private academic settings. Now, he is combining his passion and experiences for both education and research at CCU as the Instruction and Outreach Librarian. Roth enjoys integrating a high level of academic scholarship into each inquiry and investigation, helping students utilize the myriad means of library resources available to them.
