Biography and Professional Achievements

Lynn Bamberry began her teaching career at Fort Logan Elementary School in the Sheridan School District. She taught first grade and Title I for 15 years. For the last 16 years, she has been at the Colorado Department of Education as the director of Competitive Grants and Awards. During this time, she taught classes in reading and developed courses for the College of Adult and Graduate Studies at CCU.

In November 2017, Bamberry became a Teacher Preparation Program Specialist in the School of Education and taught the course, Introduction to Special Education. This fall, she will continue to place teacher candidates in partner schools for field experience, as well as teach the courses Content Literacy and Writing, and Introduction to Special Education. In 2015, she was awarded Outstanding Faculty of the Year by the College of Adult and Graduate Studies.
