Biography and Professional Achievements

Before coming to CCU, Tamara Bultje spent many years in education as a teacher, guidance counselor, assistant principal, and principal. Tamara has taught or been an administrator at every grade from K-12. For the last fifteen years, Bultje was a part of Colorado Springs Christian Schools (CSCS), and most recently was the High School Principal. As the administrator, Bultje was the educational leader and worked to mentor all faculty members, including new teachers.

Bultje has worked in both public and private education. Bultje's experiences include working with high achieving and at-risk students. Bultje has been a presenter for the Association of Christian Schools International (ACSI) in Elementary Math methods. She also chaired the CSCS K-12 Curriculum Committee for AdvancEd and ACSI accreditation. During Bultje's public school experiences, she taught every grade K-8 as a classroom teacher and also spent several years working with at-risk students.
