Fall Play: Joyful Noise

We invite you to join CCU's School of Music for our annual Fall Play: Joyful Noise on October 26.

Based on a true story, the play follows famed composer George Frederick Handel through his journey composing the famous “Messiah.” Set in 1740’s England and based on a true story, this play is a witty, heartfelt and redemptive tale about the crossed paths of Handel and his dejected first soprano whose life was ruined by a former scandal. This play features memorable music, and while it is not a musical, it will require certain roles to sing, and all roles will be in a dialect. The cast is 3 women and 5 men.
