Biography and Professional Achievements
Elisabeth Armstrong, MSc, HEC-C teaches the capstone Bioethics class for the students in the School of Science and Engineering. Her research interests include the ethics of pharmaceutical/surgical device pricing, ethics and bias in AI/ML and healthcare applications, neuroethics and human-computer interfaces, and justice for special populations in medicine.
When not at CCU, Armstrong currently serves as Director of Healthcare Initiatives at Eventide Asset Management based in Boston, MA. Prior to joining Eventide, Armstrong held positions with Meta (Facebook) Reality Labs, CommonSpirit Health, and Proactive MD. She formerly worked as an EMMY-nominated broadcast journalist in markets across the country.
Armstrong is currently earning a doctorate in Bioethics and Health Policy at Loyola University Chicago. She holds an MSc from Columbia University, and graduated with honors from Colorado Christian University, where she earned degrees Political Science and Philosophy.
In her spare time, Armstrong serves on multiple ethics committees in the metro-Denver area and volunteers as a Court Appointed Special Advocate.
