CCU's College of Adult and Graduate Studies is proud to partner with Lubbock Christian University to offer LCU graduates a 10% tuition discount toward CCU's Doctor of Nursing Practice in Visionary Leadership  offered 100% online.

CCU + LCU Tuition Discount Details

Any LCU graduate meeting the following CCU CAGS and the School of Nursing and Health Professions assured admission standards for transfer students are guaranteed admission to the School of Nursing and Health Professions:

  1. Have a completed Master of Science in Nursing degree from LCU.
  2. Completed LCU NUR 6303 and 6301 for 6 credits of transferable post-MSN college coursework.
  3. Earned a 3.0 cumulative graduate GPA.
  4. Have an active, unrestricted, or unencumbered Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state in which the clinical/practicum experience will be completed.
  5. Completed the CAGS application to the DNP program, including essay, applicable fees, and successful completion of the DNP admission interview with the CCU CAGS admission committee. Letters of recommendation for LCU graduates applying to CCU's DNP program can be waived.
  6. Completed personal narrative (1-2 pages) describing practice experience, professional goals, and why the applicant wishes to pursue a DNP.
  7. Complete the mandatory 2-day online DNP orientation that occurs during the week prior to the start of classes.

CCU's Doctor of Nursing Practice in Visionary Leadership integrates faith and learning in a way that prepares nurses to be visionary moral leaders. This program integrates competencies to prepare graduates for the NEA-BC certification and includes global ministry opportunities. The program focuses on global health, healthcare policy, and systems and organizations, and culminates in a system-level quality improvement project designed to improve health outcomes.
