Meet Luke
As someone who transferred colleges twice, I understand that the admissions process can sometimes feel overwhelming. I also know how exciting it is to find a school where you feel at home and can grow academically, personally, and spiritually. My goal is to make your college search feel a little easier and more encouraging along the way. I look forward to learning about your goals, answering your questions, and helping you discover whether CCU feels like the right fit for you.
Hometown: Portland, Oregon
Education: B.A. in Visual Communication Design (Cedarville University)
Favorite verse: “Go therefore and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all that I have commanded you. And behold, I am with you always, to the end of the age. - Matthew 28:19-20 (ESV)
Hobbies: One of my favorite pastimes is hunting for hidden gems at thrift stores, garage sales, and estate sales, especially vintage clothing and audio gear. I’m also a big coffee fan and love discovering new roasters and perfecting a great cup at home. I also enjoy music and play both bass and keys. When I’m not treasure hunting, making music, or caffeinating, you’ll probably find me training for my next distance run or out hiking and exploring the outdoors.
Before coming to CCU: Before and during college, I worked in customer service roles at a local Toyota dealership and Cedarville’s student-run coffee shop. Through these experiences, I discovered how much I enjoy connecting with people, building trust, and serving others while representing something I genuinely believe in.
