Welcome Future Freshmen
CCU’s College of Undergraduate Studies is looking for students who demonstrate a strong academic career and exemplify a vital Christian pursuit, personal integrity, and a desire for a Christ-centered community.
A first-time freshman is any student who is starting his or her first year of college, or any student who has taken 14 or less credits after graduating from high school. AP and dual credit courses taken in high school are not considered transfer credits for purposes of this designation, though they will be evaluated for credit upon enrolling.
CCU has already started accepting students for next fall. Start your application to begin the admissions process today!

CCU currently has a test-optional policy. An official ACT, SAT, or CLT test score is not required for admission. However, submitting a test score is required for first-time freshmen to be considered for CCU's highest-level merit scholarship.
If you choose to submit a test score, CCU's ACT code is 0523 and our SAT code is 4659. Submit your CLT score by emailing it directly to ccuadmissons@ccu.edu.
NCAA regulations require that potential student-athletes must still take the ACT/SAT at an approved location to become eligible to participate in NCAA sports — CLT scores are not accepted for student-athletes.
CCU will take the highest-scored exam submitted to determine merit scholarship eligibility.
Minimum Test Scores for Merit Scholarships:
- ACT composite — 22
- New SAT — 1110
- CLT — 72
Key Deadlines
Admissions deadline — CCU offers rolling enrollment which means applications are accepted until the enrollment capacity is reached. It is best to apply early so you can be sure to reserve your spot at CCU.
Preferred Admit deadline — You must apply for admission, be admitted to CCU, and submit a $150 tuition deposit by the deadline to be eligible for Preferred Admission benefits.
Priority Application deadline — for financial aid and scholarship consideration is April 1 for the fall semester and November 1 for the spring semester.
Students who do not meet these minimum requirements are encouraged to apply and the University will consider their application under a committee review process which may include a personal interview. Factors such as essay content, recommendation content, and extracurricular activity all contribute to an individual admission decision.
The Office of Admission reserves the right to request additional information as deemed necessary to make a selection decision. CCU will make an admission decision after all application materials have been received. We'll contact you once we have reviewed all admissions requirements to let you know our decision.
