3 Steps to Preferred Admission
Apply to CCU
Complete the Application for Admission online and submit the required documents:
- Transcripts
- Test Scores (optional)
CCU currently has a test-optional policy. An official ACT, SAT, or CLT test score is not required for admission. However, submitting a test score is required for first-time freshmen to be considered for CCU's highest-level merit scholarship.
After all admissions materials have been received, the Office of Admissions will review your application and notify you of our admission decision.
Submit Your Tuition Deposit
Upon admission to CCU, you must submit a $200 non-refundable tuition deposit by the Preferred Admission deadline. Submitting a tuition deposit reserves your place in the incoming class.
Earn Preferred Admission Benefits
After you submit a $200 non-refundable tuition deposit by the Preferred Admission deadline, you are automatically eligible to receive the CCU Preferred Admission scholarship.
- In-state, Colorado residents receive a $2,000 scholarship per year ($8,000 maximum for up to eight semesters)
- Out-of-state students receive a $1,000 scholarship per year ($4,000 maximum for up to eight semesters).
CCU's Preferred Admission process is non-restrictive and non-binding. Program incentives are only for students who meet the Preferred Admission program qualifications and plan to enroll in CCU's College of Undergraduate Studies in the Spring 2026 or Fall 2026 semesters. Students must meet all requirements for receiving student aid while enrolled to maintain eligibility. Other terms and conditions apply.
