Meet the Dean

Dr. Mark Parker, Dean of the School of Science and Engineering, is a developmental biologist and neuroscientist whose background spans academic research and leadership in the biotechnology industry. After studying the formation of the vertebrate nervous system, he directed technical services, production teams, and research and development efforts in biotech. Since joining CCU’s faculty in 2011, Dr. Parker has helped strengthen and expand CCU’s science programs, including redesigning the curriculum, growing enrollment, launching the Industrial and Systems Engineering program, and establishing the School of Science and Engineering.
