Minor in Spanish

Communicate across cultures and make a meaningful impact.

If you want to communicate across cultures and make a meaningful impact, the Spanish Minor at CCU gives you the skills to do both. You will develop strong, high-intermediate proficiency in Spanish, one of the most widely spoken languages in the world. Spanish is spoken by millions of people globally and right here in Colorado, where a significant portion of the population speaks Spanish at home. Learning the language allows you to connect with people in deeper, more authentic ways.

Through this program, you are equipped to share Christ's love with Spanish-speaking communities both locally and globally. As you grow in language skills, you also grow in cultural understanding, preparing you to serve others with respect, clarity, and compassion.

In addition to in-person classes, you can earn credit through study abroad experiences and summer internships that immerse you in Spanish-speaking cultures. These hands-on opportunities help you build confidence and real-world fluency.
