Through CCU Academy, Colorado Christian University offers affordable dual enrollment online college courses for students who have not yet started their college experience as traditional freshmen. CCU is a four-year liberal arts university accredited by the Higher Learning Commission; therefore, our credits transfer to many colleges and universities nationwide.

CCU Academy online courses are taught by Colorado Christian University instructors with a Christian worldview. The courses are designed specifically for high school students who wish to have a faith component integrated with their general education coursework. The online Academy courses are offered three semesters per year in 10 to 15-week blocks at $110 per credit hour.

Online dual enrollment courses cost $330. Online Dual Enrollment courses with labs cost $440.

Are CCU Academy courses accredited?

Yes. Since Colorado Christian University is accredited by the Higher Learning Commission, all courses offered through CCU Academy are also accredited. Learn more about CCU accreditations.

Do online dual enrollment courses transfer to other colleges and universities?

Most colleges and universities accept dual credit courses from regionally accredited schools like CCU. However, transfer policies vary, so it’s recommended that students contact their future college’s registrar office to confirm transferability.

How do online dual enrollment courses actually work?

The online class is run through an online platform called Brightspace. The virtual classroom format allows you to interact with your instructor and other high school students, and gives you the tools you need to find and submit required assignments.
