Alpha Sigma Lambda Honor Society

Sigma Nu Chapter of Alpha Sigma Lambda

Alpha Sigma Lambda is a national honor society for adult students in undergraduate programs. Students who qualify for membership are those who achieve academic excellence amidst the special circumstances that often come along with being an adult student. The honor society criteria is set by the national office and can be reviewed at the Alpha Sigma Lambda website.

Colorado Christian University proudly maintains a local chapter, Sigma Nu, to recognize the accomplishments of our adult undergraduate students and to make available affiliation with this distinguished and widely recognized honor society.

Each year the Sigma Nu chapter invites qualifying students to membership and to attend the annual induction ceremony.

Membership Criteria

  • Currently taking undergraduate courses in CCU’s College of Adult and Graduate Studies (CAGS).
  • Completion of at least 24 credit hours at CCU.
  • Enrollment in CAGS classes for the full academic year.
  • Each year the top 20% of all undergraduate CAGS students, with a grade point average of at least 3.2 and meeting the criteria above, are invited to join Alpha Sigma Lambda.
