Online Educational Leadership Master's Degree, M.Ed.
CCU's Master of Education in Educational Leadership is a comprehensive graduate program for experienced teachers, school administrators, and district personnel who seek to further their careers in an academic leadership role.
Offered through our College of Adult and Graduate Studies, the program is designed to address many of the issues faced by educators in the public and private sectors alike. The primary aim of the online Educational Leadership program and curriculum is to provide a tangible framework of leadership skills that prepare program participants for the challenges faced by school administrators in the 21st century.
The Master's in Educational Leadership is offered with both licensure and non-licensure options.
Graduates who complete all requirements of the Master of Education in Educational Leadership (licensing) program may apply to the Colorado Department of Education for a principal license.
- 36 credit hours for licensure or non-licensure track
- Courses are taken one at a time and are typically completed in five-week blocks
- Designed for busy adult learners; complete in as little as 24 months of consecutive coursework, even with a full-time job
- The program adheres to standards of both the Interstate School Leaders Licensure Consortium (ISLLC) and the Educational Leadership Constituent Council (ELCC)
- Graduates meet the requirements for certification by the Association of Christian Schools International
- Students can transfer up to 6 graduate-level credit hours from a regionally accredited college or university
- Accredited by the Higher Learning Commission
